WordPress has updated its Core blogging software to 5.3.2. This is a maintenance release for all previous versions, and users are strongly encouraged to update right away.

Not long after 5.3.1 was released, a few high severity issues came to light. The WordPress team quickly came up with a fix for those multiple issues, and pushed it out quickly in this update.
Amongst the issues addressed in 5.3.2:
- Date/Time: Ensure that
get_feed_build_date()correctly handles a modified post object with invalid date.
- Uploads: Fix file name collision in
wp_unique_filename()when uploading a file with upper case extension on non case-sensitive file systems.
- Media: Fix PHP warnings in
wp_unique_filename()when the destination directory is unreadable.
- Administration: Fix the colors in all color schemes for buttons with the
- Tests/build tools: In
wp_insert_post(), when checking the post date to set
publishstatus, use a proper delta comparison.
To update WordPress to 4.5.3, head over to
Dashboard Update and click "Update Now"
Websites that have automatic updates enabled will begin to see the update rollout today.
