Why Agents of Shield is the Best Show You’re not Watching

“Once upon a time” there was a small comic book company that enthralled children and adults all around the world. Now this comic book company was bought by another company – one that was ruled by a witches, warlocks, princesses and fairies. There was much gnashing and wailing of teeth by the people who loved their heroes in spandex as there was certainty that this new (larger) company would destroy the legacy of their childhood – however that was not to be and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was born!

Their first film – Iron Man (2008) – helped to launch a whole new franchise and a whole host of new characters was portrayed to us in glorious 3D and IMAX.

However, this studio did not just keep their eyes on the big screen … they have expanded to also include Television and their first foray into this medium is Agents of Shield.

Agents of Shield tells the story of a small group of non-super powered agents

(led by Agent Phil Coulson) fighting to keep us all safe in a world gone increasingly strange and amazing.

Agents of Shield or AOS as it is colloquially known started out quite slowly in the first season but gradually as it was tied into the greater Marvel Universe through the happenings in Captain America the Winter Soldier it got better and better. You can read all about this hit TV show on our partner blog Zone6. Zone6 covers all the best in fantasy, comics and television as well as movies, gaming and anime so it’s pretty comprehensive source of information reviews and views to those interested in all things geeky and nerdy.

With regards to Agents of Shield specifically it is a very comprehensive source of information and will walk you through the growth and development of the characters as well as all of the trials and tribulations that they face along the way. You’ll find out about Deathlok, HYDRA, Absorbing Man and of course you will love the fact that they have introduced the Inhumans into the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the TV show itself. This is huge … this by itself makes the show worth watching as the Inhumans movie isn’t expected for years (!) so AOS is going to be the place where these characters are developed and where their stories will be created.

Take a look at Zone6 & definitely take a look at Agents of Shield – I think you’ll enjoy both experiences
