The Ions team is covering the event in its entirety, and we’ll have the Live Blog machine up and running.  Rumours suggest that Google is going to talk in depth about Android N, the next big release of the Android OS platform.  We’re also expecting updates on Android Wear, ChromeBook, Cardboard and tons more about Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

Google is also rumoured to be showing off it’s Amazon Echo competitor, and we’re expecting some mysteries sprinkled in the conference for good measure.  This is Google’s big event for the year, so expect them to pull out all the stops.

It’s worth noting that this year, I/O will be streamed in 360 degrees.  So grab your Google Cardboard, or boring old regular high-speed internet machine, and join us for the keynote
