Nikon Unveils Its First Action Camera Built for 360-Degree Videos and Virtual Reality


Entering the action camera market, Nikon has officially unveiled the KeyMisson 360 at CES2016.

Introducing the KeyMission 360.

Touted as a rugged camera capable of recording true 360-degree video in 4K UHD, this model features an image sensor and lens on opposite sides, however internal specifications haven’t yet been revealed. Additional details include drop-proofing to six feet and waterproofing to depths of 100 feet. Stay tuned for more details as the KeyMission 360 is expected to drop sometime this spring.

  1. The Nikon Keymission looks pretty interesting as it is actually the first action camera from Nikon. Hopefully this will push us more towards 360 degree videos and VR as there is still so much potential for it!
