Microsoft Is Believed to Be Devising a New Xbox Controller

Aimed at those with accessibility needs.


According to a new report from Windows Central, it looks like Microsoft is developing a new Xbox controller, aimed for those players with accessibility needs.  The leaked images show a rectangular pad with several symbols on top.  These symbols are thought to be representative of the several possible functions for each button.  The controller also features oversized “A” and “B” buttons, which are also believed to be programmable./READ MORE// Xbox Talks Cross-Network Play

There are several other notable features, including LED lights, which will assumably change to represent different playing modes.  The controller also has what appears to be a USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack on the left side.

Specs remain pretty vague for now, and the currently unannounced controller will likely see it’s big reveal at Microsoft’s annual keynote during the E3 Expo and conference later next month.  We’ll keep you posted.
