I’m absolutely in love with this mysterious new short film, called Leap.  Leap is about the dangerous of travelling between parallel dimensions, and the design is beautiful, stunning and, thanks to some very prominent snorkel gear, strangely frightening.

Filmmaker Dan Gaud says he managed ton shoot the entire film in two days using a RED digital camera.  The film’s runtime clocks in at 6 minutes.  Gaud calls it:

a story about a guy that discovers that he can travel between two parallel worlds, but travelling between the two worlds has deadly consequences.

Gaud plans on showing the film at festivals and such to gain support for a feature-length film, one he says won’t be “as epic” but still something of a small-scale superhero movie.  We’re looking forward to seeing Leap when the full short film drops next month.
