iPhoto for Mac is all about letting you do more than you thought you could with your family photos. You can easily find, sort, and rediscover your favourite memories. Apple was just dropped version 9.6.1 with a ton of new features to help you explore your photos better.
Note: This is no longer an actively developed application. It has been replaced by Photos in OS X 10.10.
iPhoto’s simple but powerful editing tools let users turn good pictures into great photos. You can share your favourite memories over Facebook, Twitter, create slideshows, and even build photo books, cards, calendars and more.
iPhoto Version 9.6.1
iPhoto 9.6.1 was built to be compatible with migrating libraries to the upcoming Photos app, due with the next OS X update Yosemite 10.10.3.
The update also includes several bug fixes, one which can crash iPhoto when trying to print a picture, and other that causes the application to only display 25 images to a Facebook album.
