According to an article in the Financial Times, Google is in big talks with big labels to “launch a streaming service to compete with companies such Spotify”. Google’s streaming music service would stream unlimited songs with advertisements. This could be huge.

While Google isn’t new to the digital music battlefield – they launched their own music store just over a year ago – the streaming service has really taken hold as people move from Cellphones to 4G connections. Why download when you can get what you want anytime from the cloud?
