The new plugin is still in beta, meaning you’re also going to be Google’s Guinea Pig for a while. Google released a small statement on the new plugin:
“We’re still fine-tuning the plugin to make sure it works well on the many WordPress sites out there. We’d love for you to try it now and share your feedback on how it works for your site.”
The new plugin allows publishers and WordPress users to link their sits to their Adsense accounts, making setting up ads a snap, and completely eliminating HTML.
Once the plugin is installed, you only need to click a few plus signs to add an ad to the page of your choice.
After choosing the placement of Ad units, you can change the settings, and get a live preview of what your site might look like after. The Webmaster Tools integration allows you to connect to Google’s system and verify your site with one click – if you haven’t already. As of writing, the plugin cannot be used on sites hosted at WordPress.com.
The plugin has already been downloaded just under 3,000 times its first week and received 4.3 out of 5 star rating. You can grab it here.
