The Ecobee4 is expected to boast a microphone speaker, giving users the ability to give voice commands directly to the unit, as opposed to via an app or Amazon’s Echo speaker.  The previous model, Ecobee3, had Alexa functionality but required an Amazon Echo to use voice commands.

EcoBee currently has a page already up full of information on the Ecobee4, so there may not be many surprises at this keynote.  The build of the 4 look similar, but features a glowing blue light on top, and appears slimier than previous models.

Ecobee3 already offers control via Siri, and is compatible with both IFTTT and Smartthings. Our live blog goes at 11:45, and the livestream starts at 12:05.
