Apple’s upcoming Gather Round event which is rumoured to included the unveiling of loads of new Apple gear, including three new iPhones, will be live streamed on Twitter. This live streaming marks the first time Apple has live-streamed on the microblogging platform, as current Promoted Tweets from Apple has to lead many to believe.
Apple frequently runs promotions on Twitter to remind users to follow the event using the hashtag #AppleEvent, but the current promotional tweets use the word ‘watch’ instead of ‘follow’. If the event is streamable on Twitter, Apple still says that it’s event is”
