Samsung has a habit of making us wait for updates, and they’ve kept the tradition alive with the release of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which has finally begun getting to Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge handsets.  The release comes after a short but sweet beta test period, which saw users sign up to test the Marshmallow firmware.

Updates appear to be hitting only Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets so far, but that traditionally means the update isn’t too far away from coming to both the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.  Its still unclear if Samsung is rolling out the update for all markets, and more reports of the update seem to be coming from South Korea.

As the roll out has started somewhere, other markets should not have too much longer to wait
